Today, in accordance with the Commonwealth flag code, Governor Josh Shapiro ordered Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Warren County to immediately fly at half-staff in honor of Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department Chief Timothy "TJ" Johnson, who died in the line of duty on October 17, 2023.
The flags shall be lowered to half-staff until Saturday, October 21, 2023.
The Warren County Government's staff and administration wishes to convey our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Chief Timothy “TJ” M. Johnson and would ask they be kept in the community's thoughts and prayers.

Please note that US and Commonwealth Flags currently lowered statewide in honor of Philadelphia Police Officer Richard Mendez, who died in the line of duty on Thursday, October 12, should remain lowered on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds until Tuesday, October 24, 2023, per the Governor’s order.
